Feb 2019 – KwaThabisile Bush Retreat
In the heart of Dinokeng, you will find KwaThabisile Game Lodge nestled in the 200 ha Leeuwkloof Valley Conservancy.
Here Alexandra and Kay welcome you to their own ‘Out of Africa’.
Enjoy sundowners and magnificent sunsets over the Leeuwkloof Valley and hear the night sounds come to life over the soft crackling of the boma fire.
Enjoy sumptuous poolside breakfasts overlooking the magnificent Leeuwkloof Valley, wander down to three dams and eight springs, or enjoy invigorating walks through the bush. The songs of abundant birdlife accompany your every move.
KwaThabisile is the ideal venue for exclusive group breakaways: friends and family get-togethers, conferences, team building, parties, bachelor parties. Here we have a NO music policy unless you book the lodge EXCLUSIVELY (min 22 people) in order to respect our guests’ privacy who come to break away from the hustle and bustle of the city life!
KwaThabisile Bush Retreat is a true sanctuary a mere 1 hour from Johannesburg and OR Tambo Airport, and only 30 minutes from Pretoria / Tshwane.
Aug 2018 & Jun 2015 – Segaia Bush Retreat
Segaia – a name you’re not likely to forget once you’ve visited this charming lodge. One of the jewels of Northern Gauteng, it offers an escape to the magic of the bush that reminds of areas far more remote. Less than 1 hour from OR Tambo Int Airport and JHB, and less than 20 min from Pretoria in Dinokeng. Unique African magic is found only in the bush of Dinokeng, part of the Roodeplaat Dam Hub, and near Cullinan as well as the NEW ‘developing Big 5’, Dinokeng Game Reserve.
Jun 2017 – De Kleine Serengeti Game Lodge
Situated on prime land in the Dinokeng free-roaming big 5 game reserve, De Kleine Serengeti Game Lodge borders the Pienaars River on the one side and the tar road to Rust de Winter dam on the other. The Lodge offers 4 self-catering chalets as well as arranged game drives. What makes De Kleine Serengeti so special is a lovely dam with hundreds of ducks and beyond that a grass plain where game can be seen for most of the day without leaving the comfort of the lodge. From here you can view Eland, Buffalo, Kudu, Ostrich, Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest, and many more game and birds species. Game drives are available for those in search of the more elusive animals such as leopard, lion, and cheetah. Self-drive is also available.
Dec 2015 – Mystic Monkeys
Mystic Monkeys & Feathers offers you an opportunity to get as close as you’ll ever get to some of the world’s most majestic animals.
View beautiful birds and other animals, play with lion cubs, and learn from our smart tour guides about primates.
